Course summary
This course will give you a tool box of ideas to help create dance for therapeutic, educational or simply well-being purposes.
Using the medium of dance and choreographing work together, can provide the environment for people to connect on a truly authentic level and allow a meaningful outlet for communication to one another and an audience.
Using a range of stimuli and approaches to create work from the heart, this workshop will explore ideas for development taken from Theatre Inc.'s repertoire - an educational Beacon award winning company (2016) comprising of young people with specific needs whose aim is to educate, entertain and inspire.
We will create, edit and perform dance work together finding ways in which to connect with one another, starting points for choreography and play with how we communicate through dance.
