Naomi Rosenberg
Naomi is an experienced teacher of the deaf who has chosen to work with children with complex needs. She has an in-depth understanding of deafness in combination with autism, profound learning difficulties, epilepsy, visual impairment and physical challenges.
As the initiator of Dance Massage, she has been developing this practice for 20 years. Dance Massage uses music as the main focus for massage and is an intensive communication tool suitable for children with severe autism and PMLD.
She has combined her teaching with consultancy and training work with Flo Longhorn, Richard Hirstwood and volunteers for Sense, keeping her work up to date and relevant.
Naomi is a great believer in experiential and creative learning for children and adults so expect a lively hands-on training.
When she is not working, Naomi thrives on colour, music, nature and interesting people. She has recently surprised herself by completing Couch to 5K and is wondering how to keep that up. Tricky!
